Fuel hoses

Hoses for petroleum-derived products, often called fuel hoses, are used for safe transport of liquid products obtained from crude oil processing, such as raw crude oil, gasoline, petroleum, fuel oil, greases, etc.
Fuel hoses are used in the petrochemical industry, engineering processes, vehicle fuel systems, manufacturing and mining industry, as well as in transport (aviation, when loading road and rail tankers, as well as when loading and unloading ships). They are also used as finished flexible tubes equipped with fittings/connectors dedicated for a specific workplace.
In order to select the appropriate fuel hose for the medium to be transferred, its applicable design standard should be checked, along with its resistance to the percentage contents of aromatic hydrocarbons and special additives in the liquid. Make sure to review its data sheet characteristics, internal/external layer material and chemical resistance in the chemical resistance table.
