EN 14420-7/MIL Camlock couplings
The Camlock coupling originates from the US and is the world’s most popular and most commonly used coupling type. It has been developed and standardized according to the American military standard Mil-C-27487.
This standard was replaced by the federal standard Mil-A-A-59326A in 1999.
During the joint normalization in Europe in 2004, the EN 14420-7 standard was introduced, which replaces the old standard DIN 2828. The main changes involved the internal thread (part A and D) receiving a flat sealing and the stub receiving a securing flange for the shell clamp (part C + E).
The parameters of all parts manufactured at MCC are compliant with the requirements of the standards
