Claw Couplings

Claw couplings are successfully used in compressed air installations, as well as other gaseous and liquid media installations. The design standard in accordance with DIN 3489 allows them to be used successfully both in construction and industrial applications.
The lug distance is 42 mm in the European version and 41 mm in the American version.
Claw coupling bodies are usually made of galvanized cast iron, brass, steel or plastic.
The most common sealing material for DIN3489 claw couplings is NBR rubber, however FKM or EPDM seals are also available.
